Strongman presents their outstanding variable height bed. It has been designed specifically to meet the needs of modern A&E departments in examination, resuscitation and radiography, and to permit treatment of the patient with the minimum of movement.

Crank operated height variation is obtained by an acme screw crank located at the foot side. Backrest is adjustable by means of a ratchet up through five positions to 75 derees.

Trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg positions are obtained by means of a dual clutch friction lock which is both, effortless and quiet.

The radio translucent mattress platform allows conventional X-rays to be taken throught the full length of the trolley. The cassette holder is located underneath the mattress platform and is fully movable throught the whole length.

Side guards are foldable with the push of a small lever located near the end of the side guard. Head and foot end bows are Chrome plated to ensure long life and are easy removable to allow maximum access to the patient.

Full bumper protection is acheived with the PVC bumper system. It protects the bed from crashes and bumps. 9 Inch Central locking (optional) wheels provide the bed with easily controllable steering capabilities.

Included with the bed are an I.V. Pole, an oxygen gas tank holder and a utility basket.

The Bed model 220-R has a fiber top which is easy to clean and reduces the amount of infection.
