The model 230-E electrically operated bed combines a high level of versatility in patient care with electric controls that significantly help nursing staff in their work.

The easy to use electrical controls immediated remove the lifting work that has been identified as a major cause of backstrain and potential injury for nurses.

A remote electric handset allows easy, immediate adjustment of bed height by the nurse or paitent at the touch of a button. The patient or the nurse can make precise adjustment to the backrest angle. Patient comfort and dignity are greatly increased while potential back injuries and demands on nursing time is reduced.

The permanently flat seat section reduces abdominal strain in Fowler and Cardiac positions. Independnt, electrical, adjustment of the knee break provides greater flexibility and comfort in patient positioning. The Fourth (calf) section can be adjusted by means of a ratchet.

The 230-E model has a tilt system designed with four points of support to give complete stability at any height or degree of tilt between 12 degrees foot up and 6 degrees foot down.
