The original Strongman table was introduced in 1995. This updated version has now been made available to meet many requests for its reintroduction.

The new Model E Table retains all the popular features of its predecessor and incorporates additional improvements.
The four section top with its high degree of flexibility provides the fullest range of surgical positions in all braches of surgery. The grouped head end controls make positioning easy, and head and leg section interchangeability allows foot end control to be chosen when required. The extra clearance thus obtained makes the model E particularly suitable for neurosurgery and other head and neck procedures.

Full height adjustment is obtained by hydraulic foot control. The same pedal is used for gently lowering the table and can be operated from the sitting position.

Independent table top can be rotated through 360o independently of the base and locked in any position.

When rotated through 90 deg. with head and leg sections interchanged it provides foot end control of the table and unobstructed access to the head of the patient making it ideal for ENT surgery

Movements are selected by a gearbox prior to operating the main control handle. All controls are grouped at the head end for ease of operation.

The Three position brake-wheel-castor pedal provides selection of wheels for controlled maneuvering along corridors and through doorways whilst the castor position allows sideways movement for final positioning. The brake position is positive and secure, preventing any table base movement

Leg and head section removal is simple and positive. A button release frees the section which may then be withdrawn together with its two locating pins.

Highly suitable for orthopedic surgery: removal of the leg section allows attachment of the orthopedic extension (optional) providing ideal positioning for lower limb surgery
