Model 215 - K

Designed in close cooperation with medical professionals, model 215 - K dialysis chair was created for ambulatory nephrological treatment (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis), transfusion medicine (plasmapheresis, blood cell separation) and oncology.

The chair is Strongman's top of the line chair, meets with the complex demands of these medical specialties, and provides a unique combination of exceptional features.

Functional Design

As with all Strongman products, the Model 215 - K dialysis chair has impressive, contemporary features and a functional design. The robust, durable construction withstands the daily heavy - duty stress of clinical practice. All frame elements, including both mechanical and electrical components for adjustment are protected by hard plastic shells against corrosion and trauma. The multi-layer upholstered cushions are firm yet pliable.

Versatile adjustment for patient comfort

Incline is regulated by three hinged upholstery segments which form a comfortable seat, stretcher or bed. The adjustment is controlled by either patient or staff with the use of a remote hand switch. Numerous contours bay be adjusted to meet individual relaxation preferences from upright sitting to the Trendelenburg position, which is most effective in counteracting hypotension. For those who wish, the chair may be leveled into a horizontal mattress. A readily available adjustable pillow provides additional neck support.

Telescopic footrest

The adjustable footrest provides relaxation of the leg muscles for upright seated patients, and serves as adjustable support for those patients who experience cramping during procedures.

Adjustable Hinged armrests

By releasing the locked joint, the upholstered armrests bay be inclined or swiveled to obtain an array of positions facilitating easy venapuncture and most comfortable support for the arms. Right handed nurses treating left arm vascular access will appreciate the safety and support not found in traditional chairs. The unique hinged and cantilevered armrest is attached to the backrest, but may also be swiveled out of the way to ease side entry.

Detachable Upholstery

For ease of cleaning and repair, the upholstered cushions are readily detached without the need for chair disassembly. Each cusioh is attached to the chair by Velcro strips.
