Steamjet is a forced circulation, once through boiler, answering industry's requirement for low cost steam generation, from a moderate investment.

It allows sizable savings, installation costs are substantially lower than those of any other type of boiler. Steamjet uses fuel only when steam is required. It is entirely automatic. The air, fuel, water and steam are controlled by simple robust and effective components.

Three gas passes: High efficiency - good heat transfer. Residual heat is used for pre heating combustion air, which aids complete combustion.

Heavy gauge High quality tubes: The absence of a water level, the high flow velocity and the heavy gauge tubes are three important factors contributing to the exceptional resistance of STEAMJET to corrosion.

The absence of a large capacity vessel and the very small water content eliminates explosion hazards. Steamjet is frequently installed in working areas.

No Flame Impingement: Flames do not impinge on the coil which is swept only by hot gasses at high velocity, thus maintaining clean surfaces. The absence of joints with the tube plates eliminates the risk of leaks.

Negligible radiation or convection losses (0.1%): Between the outer shell and the path of combustion gases, an inner steel casing is scrubbed by the combustion air. This inner space is separated by a radiation screen. The outer shell is therefore kept cool, and the overall efficiency gain at least 2%.

Instant startup: Only a few minutes are required to obtain steam at the desired pressure, thus resulting in saving of time and money.

Simple and efficient controls: The controls permit automatic starting, or even full remote control. Permanent monitoring of feed water by fail-safe system, self proving before each restart (extra on SB units). The water pump unit is a piston type slow operating and silent running.

Steam Pressure: Coils are designed, manufactured and tested to withstand saturated steam at 40 bar. They are hydraulic tested at 60 bar.
Standard models are equipped with pumps and accessories suitable for pressures from 3 to 12 bar. Upon request, equipment can be
provided for pressures ranging from 0.3 to 3 bar or above 12 bar.

Efficiency: Efficiency of 85% (on L.C.V.) obtained with Firejet burner, three passes, and combustion air preheating circuit.
Combustion gases are exhausted at a temperature sufficient to avoid corrosion.

Fuels: Standard burners available for light oil, heavy oil or natural gas. Upon request, burners can be supplied for other gases as L.P.G. and for dual-fuel service.

Output Modulation: Steamjet type MB are equipped with modulating burners. Steamjet type SB have high-low or on-off burners. Steamjet boilers follow closely the steam demand. Peaks are absorbed smoothly, Pressure, dryness and efficiency remain constant.

Self Contained Plant: Self-contained, skid-mounted steam generating plant, especially assembled for petroleum companies, Shipyards Offshore Rigs. These include water and fuel reserve tanks and diesel-driven generators. Customer specifications accepted.


Test: Before delivery Steamjet boilers are connected to a factory test rig where performance is checked. Customers are invited to attend work tests.
